Backpacker’s Pantry Mashed Potatoes & Gravy w/ Beef is a tasty and filling option that will not break the bank. We have combined Potato flakes with lean freeze-dried beef and a savory brown gravy flavored with sour cream, thyme, and butter. This is a meal that you will most likely not share. Preparation could not be simpler, just add two cups of boiling water directly to the pouch, stir, and let set for ten minutes. All you need is a way to boil water and you can have any one of our hot meals. Keep it for an emergency situation or power outage. High protein, hearty and warming. • Once the can is open, contents should be consumed within seven days. In between consumption, reclose the can with the plastic lid provided. Store at room temperature (70°F) or below. The lower the temperature of storage, the longer the shelf life will be.
• Temperatures of freezing or lower (˜32°F) should be avoided as it may affect the integrity of the can. Cans should be stored OFF the floor in a dry, well ventilated area. 
• Best By Date on packaging is 10 years from manufacturing date.
